"After all, the wool of a black sheep is just as warm."
Color accuracy is vital to your carpet. A color in one location will look quite different in another and again quite different during the day, evening and under nighttime lighting conditions. Digital media cannot reproduce accurate color. To assure color precision, we provide you with a full set of wool color samples to view in your surroundings.
A good question to ask when approaching color is what do you want it to do for you? Does the environment need enlivening, calming, more sophistication, an air of relaxation? Should it make a statement, or is the space perfect and you need the tone to remain as it is? Do you want your carpet to be a strong focal point or a subtle one?
There are no bad colors. When a color does not look right, it is not in harmony with the surroundings, adjoining colors or you. It is important that you select color you enjoy and have enjoyed for a period of time. Color is a personal preference.
Your carpet design will adjust significantly based on color. A dramatic or active design will become calm when it is made in a single color damask tufting using only textural and shading tones. A calm design will become active when made in pink and red.
